Blairlee was raised in Arnold, MD and graduated from Severn School. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from UMBC and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University (MD). After graduating from UMBC, she worked for several non-profits in Washington, DC as well as the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Annapolis. After receiving her Master’s Degree, Blairlee worked for the YWCA of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County as a Therapist and Director of Crisis Intervention Services.
Blairlee currently serves on the Board of Directors and Faculty for the Interdenominational Young People’s Conference (IYPC), a one-week Christian summer conference for students entering 9th grade through early college held in the Poconos. She is also the After-ROCK Team Lead for the ROCK, a powerful youth retreat held once a year in Ocean City, MD.
Blairlee and her husband, Chris, have three children. Blairlee enjoys spending time with her family, reading, singing with her church choir as well as the Annapolis Chorale, playing handbells, working with youth, and being outside enjoying God’s beautiful creation.
