"It is when we are most unlovely, that we most need love."

One of our basic needs is to feel loved.

  • Surely our parents love us; but what happens when you toss away your college education to pursue a dream?
  •
  • Sometimes we find love with a spouse; but how many marriages end in divorce?
  •
  • Our kids HAVE to love us; well, try taking away the car keys.
  •

Do we feel like maybe if they all knew the 'real me' that love would fade away?  Do we feel like we have to always be doing the right thing to EARN that love?

God tells us over and over, "I have loved you with an everlasting love."  His love is forever, and it doesn't depend upon all the great things you can do for him.  God loves you, even if you have made a complete and total mess of your life.

He loves you, and He wants you to know that love.

The way we return to God is through His Son, Jesus Christ.  Jesus came to earth to show us how to know God's love.  Our first step, then, is to simply talk to God.

"God, I really want to know your love.  You sent Jesus to help me know you.  Please, Jesus, come into my life, set me free from all the things that hurt me.  Let me know your love.  Help me to learn more of you and be what you want me to be."

If you said these words to God, then He WILL help you.  And He WILL change your life. There is such a great adventure waiting for you as you learn more about Jesus and how much he loves you.

Please let us know so we can pray for you.  We would love to see you at Trinity Church on Sunday and walk this path with you. You'll want to know more about God.  He has written it all in the Bible, and we will give you one if you need it.

"I Have Loved You With An Everlasting Love."

(Jeremiah 31:3)

YOU and GOD

"It's all about Love."

Pastor David explains more about starting a new life with Jesus Christ here.

Read about how knowing God changed the lives of Trinity people.  Each of their stories are different, but all very much the same.  They all knew there was something missing in their life.  They wanted that something more.
