Disciple Bible Study begins on Sept. 13th with both morning and evening sessions.  This a great way to learn more about the Bible through a program of disciplined Bible study.  The study gives both the Old and New Testament equal time, emphasizing the wholeness of the Bible as a revelation of God. Disciple draws upon the work of scholars, the personal Bible reading and study of the participant, and dynamic group discussion to aid understanding of the Bible. The first study in the program is Disciple I, "Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study". This is a 34 week course that takes you through the Bible. There is a Study Book for each participant and a video for each lesson. Please sign up by Aug. 16th by calling Herman Cowgill, 410-757-3696 or by filling out the form in the bulletin.

Thanks to all who helped with the Celtic Worship Service!  Trinity's Celtic Worship Service was held outdoors, in the back yard of the Parsonage, for the third year. The focus was on using ancient Celtic melodies and words of Scripture and the Saints to help us come into God's presence.  This year's theme was "Abiding," and incorporated butter churning with a real butter churn!  The service was part of Trinity's Week of Connecting with God to coordinate with the National Day of Prayer.  Listen to a beautiful, traditional Scottish song, Wild Mountain Thyme, played by Trinity's Celtic group.

"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him."
